Suitcase Stretcher
This is the perfect system for the operator that is not in the air ambulance business or for the aircraft owner that wants to be prepared. We call it the suitcase stretcher. As you can see from the renderings below, the stretcher folds up and is stored in a soft sided case. This allows for easy storage in a luggage compartment. When it's needed all one has to do is unfold the stretcher. It can then be used to retrieve the patient. Upon reaching the aircraft the stretcher will snap into brackets attached to the seat tracks thus securing the patient for the flight. The existing aircraft seats only have to be slid forward / backward enough to allow room for the stretcher or they can be removed from the aircraft for the flight.
